Taylor Lautner talks with Chris Weitz

The big question on every ones mind is who is going to play Jacob Black for New Moon. Jacob Black is such an immensely huge character in New Moon and it is important that they pick the right guy. Taylor Lautner played Jacob Black in the first Twilight movie, but talk says he might not be back.
Taylor Lautner says that he has been preparing for the role as New Moon Jacob since the day they stopped filming the first movie. Already he has put on 19 pounds and apparently has told Chris Weitz he will pack on more before filming.
In an interview with OK magazine Taylor states that as far as he knows he is still in the running and in fact he already was scheduled to meet with Chris Weitz to talk about the role. We haven’t heard reports about how this went, but we are anxiously awaiting the decision.

there is a rumor that Weitz is lookin more towards Copon’s direction:( but it’s just a rumor. majority of fans love Taylor and want him in New Moon. it doesn’t matter if he doesn’t fit the part anymore. Jacob grows all throughout the next 3 books. what r they goin to do? just keep changin the actor? NO! that isn’t what the fans want, and Weitz done said he wants to make the fans happy. what really matters is if he can act the part well. and TAYLOR CAN. he knows the character better than anyone. So i think that summit ent. and weitz just need to listen to what majority of fans want. it would make us all VERY happy. PLEEEZZZ!!!:) KEEP TAYLOR!!:)

That is the biggest problem, there is so many rumors floating around that it is hard to know what is actually facts and what people are just making up.
But the good news is that it is keeping Twilight in the news. I just can’t wait to see how it all turns out.
