An interview with Kristen Stewart

In a recent interview Kristen Stewart gave a little glimpse into her life and how she grew up. First off all her fear of Rollercoasters and Disneyland, something that working on her new movie Adventureland helped her get over.
Also Kristen Stewart talks about how she has grown up around show business her whole life. Her mom is a screenwriter, who is currently writing a movie Kristen is going to star in, and her dad is a stage manger.
Although Twilight really gave Kristen her push into the spotlight. It would seem that Kristen still prefers to do small independent films.

Stephenie Meyer and Twilight

What would Twilight be without the wonderful mind of its creator, Stephenie Meyer. recently we uncovered an article that Stephenie did right before the release of the Twilight movie where she gives her thoughts about the movie, Breaking Dawn, and even Midnight Sun.
Stephenie Meyer was as nervous for the movie adaption of the book as we were, if not more. She says:

I was terrified for days in advance before I saw Twilight for the first time. I was so worried that it was going to be horrible and break my heart.

But luckily it turned out great and they are now in production for New Moon. At the time Breaking Dawn was new on the shelves and tongues were wagging their opinions, some of them a tad harsh. Negative comments like some that Stephenie got are hard to take but here is what Stephenie had to say about it:

It just made me nervous for it to come out. But in the end I just had to say, ”This is the way this story goes.” It’s almost like history to me. This is what happened! You can’t mess with what happened. But I’ve been surprised at how hard it is to have people in some senses turn on you. That’s weird for me. But it was weird to have people like me too.

So what is happening with Midnight Sun? While keep in mind that this article is from November, but here is what she had to say at the time:

I do not feel alone with the manuscript. And I cannot write when I don’t feel alone. So my goal is to go for, like, I don’t know, two years without ever hearing the words Midnight Sun. And once I’m pretty sure that everyone’s forgotten about it, I think I’ll be able to get to the place where I’m alone with it again. Then I’ll be able to sneak in and work on it again.

Any Scenes to be Shot at Kalama High?

Bella and Edwards High school is a very key element to the story of Twilight and New Moon, but with the growing popularity of the movies, filmmakers are not sure they will be able to film any scenes as locally as they did before. The schools Superintendent is working on persuading new director Chris Weitz to use their school as a set again in New Moon. the Superintendent took the director on a tour of the school and showed him the locations used previously.
It would be great for the school and the economy of Kalama for Summit to film more scenes there, as much money flowed into Kalama from that project.
it has already been said that most of the filming will be done in Canada and Italy, but the possibility of having a few scenes filmed more locally is keeping all of us Twilghters on our toes.

Who Should Play Alec?

There is a lot of talk right now about Dakota Fanning possibly playing Jane, and with it, who would make the perfect Alec. After looking at these pictures I personally think that it should be Lucas Grabeel. He needs a chance to get out of the High School Musical Rut anyways. Look at the pictures and you decide.

Kristen Excited about Taylor

We are all so excited about Taylor Lautner staying for New Moon as Jacob Black. But what is really important is how Kristen Stewart feels about the man playing her best friend. In an article with MTV Kristen Stewart expressed her delight in Taylor Lautner staying on. She is quoted as saying:

“Yeah, absolutely,” Stewart said. “I’m so glad they didn’t have to find somebody else; we already had him! I didn’t understand all the deliberation on [whether to bring him back]. But now that it’s set, we can all rest.

She is also as impressed with his new buff bod as we are:

“He’s really buff!” she exclaimed of Lautner, who’s packed on nearly 30 pounds of muscle so far to prepare for Jacob’s werewolf growth spurt. “He definitely is. It took him a lot of time.

Summit Wins Award at Sundance

This week at the Sundance Film Festival Summit was definitely on the minds of everyone there, with the recent popularity of their movie Twilight. Summit also was honored with the Nielsen Impact award which was given to co-chairman Rob Friedman and Patrick Wachsberger. This award celebrates the individuals whose movies have had the biggest impact on the independent film industry. While with the fortune that Twilight made, Summit has definitely made an impact and they defintely deserve this award.

Dakota Fanning talks about Jane

In a couple of different article Dakota Fanning has confirmed that she is up for the part of Jane in the Twilight sequel new Moon.
In the Insider she says:

“I really hope that works out. It would be interesting, really fun to be a part of. I’m a huge fan of all those actors. So, it’s too soon to tell right now, but I really hope that it does happen.”

For Access Hollywood:

“I think it’s too soon to tell if I’ll for sure be doing it, but it’s so great,” she told Access Hollywood on Saturday at the junket for her latest film, “Push.” “I’m a really big fan of that series and the first film and all the actors in it, so it would be wonderful.”

She also talks about here already pale skin and hear Twilighter friends who would love her in that role

And lastly she tells ET:

“It would be so cool to play a vampire,”

Rob Named Most Attractive

Hello Magazine has finally wrapped up their polls and the decision has been made. Robert Pattinson has won most attractive man of 2008. That is pretty awesome for the breakout star seeing as Britney Spears won for the women and Madonna for most elegant.
Rob definitely has the girls attention. If his wonderful acting as Edward in Twilight wasn’t good enough, he also has the looks that get the girls screaming.
