Who Should Play Leah Clearwater?

As bad of an attitude as she may have, you can’t help but love and feel sorry for Leah Clearwater from the Twilight book series. So of course just like with all of the other characters it is important to pick the right person to play this sarcastically funny character. Believe it or not, the rumor is that it is a Disney Channel star might play her, Vanessa Hudgens or Brenda Song. Both definitely have their strengths in the world of acting, but are they the right people to play Leah, the right actors to bring her character to life? It is true that Leah doesn’t play much a part of New Moon as she does in other books, but it is still important for Summit to pick a character that we are going to like enough for them to keep her through the rest of the movies.
According to the poll taken by MTV fans are not big supporters of either of these girls, both feel that they are the not type of personality to pull of Leah. They feel like a different actress would pull her character off better. So what do you think: Brenda, Vanessa, or someone else?

I really don’t know much about her, but face whys I would agree. She is almost exactly like I imagine Leah looking.

I love Leah! I saw this girl on the internet who tried for the part of Le and I absolutly think she is perfect! Her name is Venessa Whitewolf. I think she is exactly like I pictured Leh. You can see her on u toob.

Wow she would make a good Leah. I think I read about her once before and thought she would be good. Hopefully Summit catches wind of her.

Natives should play native rolls, and I think that
Q’orianka Kilcher would be the perfect Leah Clearwater.
The Twilight franchise is doing better about casting, but an Asian actress really isn’t the best person to represent a Quoillote Native American. Q’orianka really has what it takes and would be the best for the role.

I think for a dark, mysterious beauty the perfect casting would be Q’orianka Kilcher who played Pocahontas in “New World” and who’s coming out in the movie as a princess from Hawaii. She is a fantastic actress.
