Casting Finished for New Moon?!

According to the website Live PR.com casting director Joseph Middleton has stated that casting for New Moon is complete. No official list has been posted and no word as for who is playing who, but hopefully that news is coming soon.
On that note, rumors are flying about who is directing the third installment, Eclipse, even rumors that Drew Barrymore may be directing?? That seems unlikely. However there is a more likely rumor floating around stating that Chris Weitz brother Paul Weitz is actually going to direct, that seems much more likely. Be in New Moon!!

Rachel Lefevre Talks New Moon

Rachel Lefevre, who plays Twilight’s bad girl Victoria, has also been spilling some New Moon Secrets. She said she was in the process of training for some wire work needed for the next movie. Also she said she was doing a new workout only available in Hollywood called GST, so we will see a much buffer version of Victoria in New Moon apparently.
She even let slip some news about Twilight’s third movie, Eclipse set to release June of 2010. She said she was really looking forward to it because Victoria has a big fight scene. Yes, anyone who has read the books, The fight scene.

Rob at the Oscar’s After Party

Rob had quite a night for his first Academy Awards. Not only did he help present the Romantic movies of the year with Mamma Mia star Amanda Seyfried, he also had beautiful celebrity women vying for his attention.
Paris Hilton has been quoted saying that she thinks Rob is very cute and that she was a big fan. Well she proved how true this was at the Oscar’s where she was seen chatting and flirting with the hunky Twilight star. Apparently, according to friends, Rob and Paris flirted quiet a bit and seemed to be in deep conversation. Paris even had a chance to sneak him away into the Garden for a more private chance to talk, lucky her!
Paris isn’t the only one with her eyes on the prize, Natalie Portman was also spotted doing some flirting with Rob. Apparently the beautiful actress went right up to Pattinson to say hi as soon as she spotted him. They spent some time together and even some talking on the Patio. Rob was quite nervous about presenting but he had something to calm his nerves and according to a friend it was “Whiskey and Natalie Portman.” Natalie and Rob seemed to have a good time together and although they left the party separately that doesn’t mean this is the end of what could be Robalie.

Is Dakota Fanning Official Yet?!

There is so much rumors floating around about Dakota Fanning, is she or isn’t she joining the movie cast. I mean she has gotten great reviews from the Twilight fans, and pretty much everywhere you go she has been tentatively added to the casting sheets, or at least written as being rumored. Even IMDB has her listed under rumored. That is why I almost didn’t even post this latest gossip but everyone is talking about it so I figured you should all be in the know. Basically a blogger, TwiCrack Addict wrote a post that was a memo from Production Weekly that stated Dakota Fanning as listed with the rest of the cast. There is no confirmation from Summit, so still nothing official.
When you source it all the way back it takes you through this trail leading back to a TwilightMOM who works at Production Weekly and saw this in the Production Newsletter. To me it doesn’t seem that much different than all the other stuff we have been hearing, but Summit is being so secretive about all of this that we are all starving for more information. I wish they would just tell us so we can stop speculating.

Ashley Greene has her Script

Ashley Greene has her Script and is so excited, she says it is even better than the first movie!!! She says she may be biased because she has a bigger pat, but she still thinks it is better. We have already heard that Alice’s yellow Porshe will be in the movie, I wonder what else they will stay true too and what they will change?
How awesome right? Hopefully this helps clear up some of the worries we all have about how the second movie is going to turn out.
Kellan Lutz has also reportedly gotten his script and he and Ashley are in agreement. They think it is very good and they can not wait to start filming.
We can’t wait either!! Hurry up and get his movie out!!

Kristen after the Oscar’s

After Rob’s appeared and presented at the Oscar’s, it was only natural for us to ask, Where is Kristen Stewart. I mean it would make sense if they presented together, right? Well it just so happens that Ms. Stewart’s father was there and when reporters asked him why his daughter was not presenting he said she would present “When it is a great movie, Not just one that makes a lot of money.”
This quote has caused a past article that Kristen did for Nylon awhile back to start circling around again. Here is what Kristen has to say about Twilight and maybe it will shed some light on her not presenting at the Oscar’s.

On the Twilight Madness: “Anywhere we’d go for Twilight was a psychotic situation. The sound was deafening, and it’s thoughtless, as well… You get a slew of all these questions like, ‘What’s it like to kiss a vampire?’ and ‘How much do you love Robert?’ Then you’ll get one that’s actually real, but you’re like, ‘No, I can’t right now, I can’t even consider [it].”

On her memorable David Letterman appearance: “I feel like I have nothing to say on those shows… I’m not good at the funny thing—most people are really great on those shows. I don’t have a contrived personality that [I can] just pump out [for] a five-minute segment, so I end up sitting there and looking kind of baffled. Embarassing.”

And no, she’s not dating Robert Pattinson. “It’s just totally false… Rob and I are good friends. We went through a lot together, so we feel very close. But if we go out in public, every little detail is scrutinized, like the way I stand next to him. And it’s like, I know this guy really ——– well [laughs]. It’s only natural that we’re sort of leaning on each other, because we’re put in the most ——- psychotic situations.”

On who she’s actually dating: “He’s older than me—he’s 20 now—but when you’re 13 and he’s turning 16, it was always sort of an out-of-reach thing. Then you get a little older, and you realize, ‘Oh, What the —- am I thinking? I can have you, like, lickity…’” she snaps her fingers, laughing. “He’s awesome.”

New Moon Casting News

Right now we are all waiting to hear who is going to play our favorite characters in the Twilight sequel, New moon, so any little piece of information is good news. Recently the talk has been that Canadian actor Bronson Pelletier has landed a role in New Moon.

There is no word about who he is going to play yet but on his casting agency’s website it says this:

Congratulations to BRONSON who scores a lead role in the highly anticipated “Twilight” feature film sequel “New Moon”. It’s rumored he will be co-staring with Dakota Fanning.

When I see his picture I think of Seth, who do you think Bronson is going to play?

The Oscars Twilight report

So with all the rumors that flew around this Oscar season it was hard to know what was actually going to go down at the Oscars. Now that it is all said and done we finally got to see it all play out. Rob introduced clips of Romantic movies of the year with Amanda Seyfried of Mamma Mia and made mention of “Becoming a Vampire to find true love” The real of Romantic movies had three clips of Twilight mixed in and my mom and I let out our fangirl squeal everytime we saw one.
That was the last of any Twilight direct mention but we did spot Rob a couple of times sitting behind Mickey Rourke.
We would have like to have seen more Twilight, and have seen them win some awards but it was good to see them anyway.
