Has Caius been Found?
New Moon has already started filming but there are still holes about some characters who are supposed to appear in the movie. One of these characters is Caius the leader of the Voluturi coven of vampires. Recently BBC has published an article from British actor Jamie Campbell-Bower, who was recently seen in Sweeney Todd with Johnny Depp. There is no confirmation from Summit or Stephenie about this yet, but Jamie Campbell-Bower said that he was supposed to be starting filming in June. Also he reported that he knew who else was going to be in the movie but he was not allowed to say.

Jacob’s Volkswagen Rabbit
One of the coolest things about Jacob is what brings Bella to him in the first place, he fixes cars. A key car from New Moon is Jacob’s 1986 VW Rabbit and we think it has been found. Recently pictures have been floating around of the supposed set for Jacob and Billy Black’s house. Parked outside of this house is 1986 VW Rabbit, which leads us to believe that this is Jacob’s. New Moon Trailer?!
Rehearsals have just started for New Moon and already there are whispers of a New Moon trailer which is supposed to be featured on the the Special Collectors Blue Ray Disc of Twilight which is set to release May 5th. It is one of the special features listed and I can’t wait to get my hands on a copy. However who knows, since they are starting to filming a little early maybe the trailer will be out a little early too!!

Deleted Scene- Carlisle and Esme
For anybody who just can’t wait till Saturday, here is a Twilight deleted scene of a shared kiss between Carlisle and Esme. It is a very sweet scene and it shows the love that Stephenie Meyer’s so wonderfully describes in her books.
Twilight Midnight Release Parties
Twilight the DVD comes out this Saturday and we are counting down the days! For anybody who is looking to get their hands on an advanced copy a Twilight Midnight Release part is just for you!! Local video stores around the country are having midnight parties on Friday the 20th!! So if you haven’t ordered your copy yet or you just can’t wait until it arrives go here to find the closest location near you.
There will be prizes, activities and there is rumor of surprise visits from the cast at certain locations.

Bella Will Cliff-Dive, Kristen Won’t
Kristen Stewart is busy busy, between rehearsals in Vancouver and Premiering her new movie, Adventureland. Well on tour for her new movie, Kristen stopped at MTV and gave them the word about Bella’s big Cliff-diving scene. Kristen said unfortunately she would not be jumping, instead a computerized Bella will actually be making the jump. Kristen says she gets to almost jump, but her feet never actually leave the ground. She spent one afternoon doing head shots so they could create a computerized doppelgänger. Check out her describing it in this video:
Jacob and his Wolfpack?
UPDATE: According to Stephenie Meyer’s website the wolfpack is officially confirmed, everyone except for Emily. There is no word about her yet, but hopefully soon. Here is the announcement from Stephenie’s site.
Los Angeles, CA — March 23, 2009 — Summit Entertainment announced today that Native American/First Nation actors Chaske Spencer, Bronson Pelletier, Alex Meraz, Kiowa Gordon and Tyson Houseman have signed on to star as the members of the wolf pack in THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON. In the film, the wolf pack defends humans against vampires although they have a tribal history intricately entwined with Edward Cullen and his family. The wolf pack members will join Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and fellow wolf pack member Taylor Lautner in the film directed by Chris Weitz which will be released domestically November 20, 2009.
In THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON, Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) is devastated by the abrupt departure of her vampire love, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) but her spirit is rekindled by her growing friendship with the irresistible Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner). Suddenly she finds herself drawn into the world of the werewolves, ancestral enemies of the vampires, and finds her loyalties tested.
Each member of the wolf pack is of Native decent. Spencer is Lakota (Sioux), Pelletier is Cree-Metis, Meraz is Purepecha (Tarasco), Gordon is Hualapai, and Houseman, who was discovered at an open casting call, is Cree. Casting of the wolf pack was overseen by award-winning casting director Rene Haynes who is well-known for her work on Native projects ranging from DANCES WITH WOLVES to BURY MY HEART AT WOUNDED KNEE.
The action-packed, modern day vampire love story and blockbuster success of the first film in the series entitled TWILIGHT was released in theatres on November 21, 2008 grossing $60.9 million domestically during its first weekend. To date the film has grossed nearly $380 million worldwide. TWILIGHT was released on DVD, Blu-ray and VOD this past Saturday, March 21st and sold over 3 million DVD units in its first day of release making it one of the top five best first day DVD releases over the past two years.

Filming for New Moon starts next week and there is still no confirmation of who will play Sam, Seth or the rest of Jacob’s werewolf pack. However, recently Chris Weitz was spotted taking Taylor Lautner and a group of male actors out to lunch in Vancouver. The actors were Bronson Pelletier; who was said to be joining the cast when it was posted on his agents website, Tyson Houseman; who we don’t know much about but is famous for theatre work, and lastly Alex Meraz; who is another fighter like Taylor Lautner. There is no confirmation from Summit about any of them but it seems fairly likely since it has been confirmed on their agents websites.
UPDATE: There is more evidence floating around that this is the wolf cast and also who is playing Emily and the rest of the cast. This is the best place for pics and info that I have found. I think that Sam is perfect!! Again none of this is confirmed by Summit.

Vampire (and Human) Bonding Time
The production of New Moon is underway and new director Chris Weitz is already off to a great start. During their first week in Vancouver Weitz took all the cast out to dinner for some good bonding time for cast old and new. The general manager said they appeared to be having a good time and that they were very down to earth and polite. What fun that must have been!!
New Moon Filming has Started!!
Ever since Twilight first came out we have been anxiously awaiting the arrival for the next segment, New Moon. With news of Dakota Fanning being cast as Jane, we knew it was getting close. Well Twilighters the wait is over!! All our favorite Twilight stars are in Vancouver right now doing rehearsals and beginning the process of filming New Moon.
