Eclipse Casting and Filming

I am so excited for New Moon, but Eclipse is just around the corner. Filming is scheduled to start Monday and already I am getting great info about it!! We have already heard about the new Victoria played by Bryce Dallas Howard and the cassting of Xavier Samuel as riley, but there are some new additions as well. Actress Catalina Sandino Moreno was cast as Maria, the vampire responisible for turning Jasper in the 1800’s. Catalina has been previously seen in Fast Food Nation and Love in the Time of Cholera. She looks like she will be a great Maria and a wonderful addition to the cast.

Another casting is the role of Bree, the newborn vampire who is serving Victoria. the role was given to 14yr old Jodelle Ferland who was previously seen in “Stargate: Atlantis” and Good Luck Chuck. I am really excited to see how she develops this role and how the take it from the book to film.

Filming starts Monday and is expected to end on October 31st, Halloween! So i am sure we will have lots of new updates for you soon, so check back often!!
