TONS of Twilight Updates!!!

There is so much new stuff going on with the Twilight saga that is is hard to keep up on posts! We have been trying to keep you updated through our facebook and our twitter accounts, but there is just not enough space to give you all the info you need. So we would post it for you here, that way you can be in the know on all things Twilight! Here we go!

Although I am not a very jealous person, I couldn’t help but be jealous of the lucky Oprah viewers who got to see an early preview of Eclipse!! Oprah was filming her show for Eclipse that is scheduled for  May 13th (Rob’s Birthday) and so her and the audience got to actually see the movie. So far people have been really good at not spoiling anything, but from the tweets we can tell the movie is going to be so good!!:

@JustSoJazzyDiva yes there was a lot of Edward & Bella. They didn’t miss a thing
you’re gonna be blown away for sure.

@JustSoJazzyDiva [Alice and Jasper] have waaay more screen time!! U even get to see them
interact more w/ each other!

@Nicolediscogrll I just saw Eclipse. Oh my god. Best movie I have ever see. The fight
scenes the love scenes oh my god.

From Emily:

First, the trailers HARDLY give the movie any justice, which is always a great thing – you go in expecting one thing and leave completely blown away. This movie was by far the best and I have no
negative comments on it. David Slade did an amazing job, his shots and
fight scenes were amazingly done. By far the best yet. They stayed
completely true to the book – this had the most direct and almost
direct quotes andddd LOTS of making out!! Very Edward and Bella
focused which was great! And the most exciting, Jasper was truly the
breakthrough character of this movie. He was the most impressive and I
loved that he had actual dialogue in this movie.

This movie will definitely be more guy friendly, and the humor has stepped up big time! It’s not cheesily thrown in there like the crack of “guess the wolf’s outta the bag.” More edgy this time around.
Sexual humor was tossed around too. I know all the Twilight fans are
going to be amazed and definitely not disappointed!!

Sounds amazing!!!

Next update- Breaking Dawn Release date is Set!! Just a few days ago they announced the director for Breaking Dawn so we knew this would be coming soon! LA Times is reporting the release date as November 18, 2011. I know, I know, none of us want to wait that long, but in reality it could have been longer. I mean Rob and Kristen have been signing up for all sorts of movie projects. Let the countdown begin!!

Another Still has been released and from what we can tell Edward and Bella keep getting steamier and steamier!!
LA CA.0406.eclipse.004.jpg

For those of you who read the book, the speculation is that this is the scene where Edward is “baby-sitting Bella.” You will remember this scene was very steamy!!

The Clackamas Community College was used as the greenhouse in Twilight, you know the scene where we learn about compost tea? Well, every year they have a Mothers Day flower sale and it is one of the only days where you can actually go inside and see the greenhouse. It is the perfect time to get pictures of the greenhouse! The sale is this Friday from 12-5pm. Go check it out!

Also check out the Eclipse Sneak peek, this can be found on some of the New Moon DVD’s but for those that haven’t seen it I wanted to share!!-

Thats all i have for today, but believe me there is so much more coming!! Don’t forget to check out Oprah May 13th to find out more about Eclipse!!

What do you think of our updates? Is it too much excitement to handle?? Have any updates YOU want to share??? Please share in the comment section below!!

Stephenie Writes new Twilight Novella

March 30, 2010 by Jessica

Twilight Fans have bee begging for months for Stephenie Meyer to write a new Twilight novel and we keep hearing the same answer, that she is not writing anymore vampire novels at the moment. Well I guess she changed her mind because due out June 5th at 12:01am is Stephenie Meyer’s latest novel The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner: An Eclipse Novella!! Here is what we know so far about the book-

The new novella is told in the voice of the teenage Bree, a “newborn vampire” whom we meet on page 569 in Eclipse. Ten pages later, she’s dead.

“I started writing this a long time ago,” Meyer said in an exclusive interview with USA TODAY. “It was when I was editing Eclipse. It was more of just an exercise so I could be clear about what was going on in the story.”
Bree is part of an army of newborn vampires created by Cullen family nemesis Victoria. Thirsty for revenge after the Cullens kill her vampire lover James, Victoria’s plan is to use her army to kill the Cullens and Bella.

“The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner is pretty much contained in the last week of the newborns’ existence before the big fight (between the Cullens and the vampire army) in the meadow in Eclipse,” Meyer says. “It’s the last week before Bree dies.”

In the novella, Meyer says, Bree has been a vampire for about three months. No other details are being released.

How exciting right? Already the novel is getting some screen time as Stephenie tells us that parts of the book will be added as plot points to the Eclipse movie, due out June 30th.

But that is not even the best part! There is so much more! Stephenie tells it best on her site but I will post some of it hear for you to read:

This story was something that I worked on off and on for a while, just for fun, in between the times I was writing or editing other Twilight novels. Later, when the concept for The Twilight Saga: The Official Guide came up, I thought that might be a good place for Bree. Her story is a nice complement to Eclipse; it explains a lot of the things that Bella never knew. So I dusted it off and finished it up for placement in the Guide.

Then I got the news: my “short story” was nearly 200 pages long when typeset. It was too long to fit into the Guide—without ending up with a tome as heavy as the Oxford English Dictionary. My publisher approached me with the idea of releasing the Bree story on its own. One of the major benefits of this plan was that it would be out before the movie, so people would get to know Bree before they saw her in the film. That made sense to me, and we decided to go ahead with it.

But here is the Best part:

There was one thing I asked for: since this story had always been an extra for me, and was meant to be released with the Guide, I wanted to be able to offer it to my fans for free. You all have bought a ton of my books, and I wanted to give you this story as a gift. My publisher was awesome and embraced this idea. We still wanted to also produce a physical book with a cool cover (see below) that you can add to your set if you like, but starting at noon on June 7th until July 5th, it will also be available online at www.breetanner.com/

How very Exciting!! Thank you Stephenie!!

Are you excited about reading this story? What questions do you hope she answers in the book? Come and share in the excitement with us!!

Breaking Dawn Official!!

February 18, 2010 by Jessica
Filed under Announcements, Rob Pattinson, Twilight, breaking dawn

It is official! Breaking Dawn will be filmed and it will be shot as two separate movies. For months the Twilight world has been a buzz with rumors about Breaking Dawn and its productions; the where, the when, the how. Unfortunately most of those questions still go unanswered, but here is what we do know.

Breaking Dawn has officially been green-lit, although there is no press release from Summit confirming this yet. But don’t worry too much about that, it also took them awhile to release press releases about the casting of Taylor Lautner and Bryce Dallas Howard. It will be split into 2 different films, the first of which is starting production in October of 2010. There is still no named director but all signs point to Gus Van Sant, who is currently filming a movie with Bryce Dallas Howard. As to the controversy of where it is being filmed, there is still no word, but Gus Van Sant is known for filming movies in Oregon, so that could be a clue!

However, not all the news is good news. Twilight stars Kristen Stewart, Rob Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner have not signed on to shoot the second half of Breaking Dawn yet and sources are saying they are no where close to an agreement. These stars are getting super famous and they are in high demand so there prices are going up. Especially Taylor Lautner, whose fees have gone up to 7.5 million!!

Hopefully we get more answers soon, but for now that is all I have for you! Casting for this production will start very soon and as soon as I know, I will share the info!

Are you glad it is being separated? Who do you think should play Reneesme? Share your opinions with us!!

Leverage Boot Camp

Filed under Announcements, Twilight, casting, events

Twilight isn’t the only fun that we have down here in Portland!! In fact lots of TV shows and movies are making their way to Oregon for filming. One of are biggest show is Leverage and it is one of my favorites!! Lana Veenker, one of the principal casting directors for Twilight, also casts this show and she is giving hopeful actors a chance to land key roles in this show, it is called Leverage Boot Camp, here are the details.

This weekend (Feb. 6th-7th) Lana Veenker’s is hosting Leverage Boot Camp through her educational division, Tools 4 Actors. Basically casting is going on for season 3 and many of the actors who played thugs and stuntmen are no longer eligible for roles in the show. So Lana and TNT have several different camps that are workshops that train potential actors on how to be stuntmen and thugs. Here are the camps:

*Thug Camp - 12 hours of instruction, plus 2 lunchtime Q&As

*Beginner Camp - 10 hours of instruction, plus 2 lunchtime Q&As ( + optional stunt class)

*Kid Camp - 6 hours of instruction, plus 1 lunchtime Q&A ( + optional parent class)

*Teen Camp - 6 hours of instruction, plus 1 lunchtime Q&A ( + optional parent class)

*Behind-the-Scenes Camp - 2 hours of instruction, plus 1 lunchtime Q&A ( + optional stunt class and/or additional lunchtime Q&A)

This is just a workshop to teach the skills and not an audition so participating does not guarantee a spot on the show, but it is still an amazing opportunity! for more information go to Lana’s Website or to the Boot Camp registration page. Good Luck!

Are you going to go to boot camp? Share the experience with us!!

twilight happy birthday Pictures, Images and Photos

Stephenie Meyer is the wonderful women that first brought us into the world of Twilight. Today we want to celebrate her and wish her the Best Birthday Ever!!

What started out as a dream has turned into a best selling book series and now record breaking movies. Stephenie Meyer has awakened a spark in all of us that we forgot was there, inviting us to explore a side of vampires never explored before. Twilight is an original vampire story where vampires sparkle and prefer a “vegetarian” diet. The romance between Bella and Edward is similar to classic relationships such as Romeo and Juliet, but somehow it also reminds us all of our first love. Stephenie Meyer has got us all reading again,  We will forever be thankful to her!

Stephenie, Twilight is exactly our brand of heroin. Have a wonderful Birthday!!
