And the Winners Are…

So the Teen Choice Awards were on last night, and no big surprise, Twilight rocked the house!! It was a fun show, hosted by Katy Perry and the Glee Guys, they kept the audience and viewers very entertained. Plus it helps that the night was filled with all of our favorite stars, including Sandra Bullock and Betty White! I was actually really pleased to see Hilary Duff, there, she has been out of the scene for awhile and would love to see her jump back in! But there was no one we were more excited to see then most of the members of the Twilight cast! Unfortunately, Kristen Stewart is on the road filming her new movie, On the Road, but we were all pleasantly surprised to see Taylor Lautner.  Previously it was reported that Taylor wouldn’t make it back in time do to filming on his new movie Abduction, but seeing as how he one tons of awards last night, I think it was a good thing he showed up!

Twilight won a total of 13 surfboards between them, which basically means they won everything they were nominated for!! They even one Fanatic Fans, which really is not all that shocking! Taylor brought home Choice Hottie, Best Smile, and pretty much any other award that could point out how attractive he was! Ashley Greene won scene stealer, along with her co-star Kellan Lutz! Kristen Stewart even one an award for Choice Summer Movie star even without being there!

All and all it was a good show, even if Twilight hadn’t totally dominated!! If you missed last nights show, here are a few clips of our favorite cast winning some awards!!

Twilight at Teen Choice Awards

Twilight is so hugely popular that it is really not that much of a surprise anymore when they are nominated for any awards. So hearing all the nominations for the Teen Choice Awards only confirms for us how awesome they are! Twilight is nominated for 17 different awards and they are sure to take most, if not all of them home. I mean, so far Twilight has done amazing at previous fan voted awards shows. And as if the nominations were not enough, there is also now word that some of the stars will be there! Ashley Greene and Robert Pattinson are both confirmed as stars scheduled to appear! Ashley and Kellan Controversy

When I first heard the rumors of Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz battling for more money with the hazard of being fired, I quickly dismissed it, I mean this is the first time we have heard these rumors. However, the rumors don’t seem to be going anywhere, in fact they seem to be building and being backed up by some pretty reliable sources. So waht is the story everyone is buzzing about?

Apparently all the actors have been signed on to do the last movie in the series, Breaking Dawn. But if the movie is split into two movies, which has all but been confirmed, new contracts will need to be drawn up. These new contracts will make it possible for new negotations to be made. Reportedly, Rob, Kristen, and Taylor have all been signed and are good to go, but other stars are fighting for better deals. With the time inbetween the movies, Ashley and Kellan have been offered roles in other, better paying films. So, they are calling for Summit to increase their pay if they want them in the movie.

Summit has been through this before with Rob and Kristen, as well as with Rachelle. With Rob and Kristen, their pay was increased, however with Rachelle, she took the better paying job and lost the role of Victoria. Their are whispers that Summit might drop one of them to set an example.

So now is the time to take sides, what do you guys think? On one hand Summit needs to have a firm hand so that they are not taken advantage of. Also, Twilight is sure to make the stars tons of money so should they just be grateful and keep their mouths yet? However, Ashley and Kellan are great actors who are in high demand. They have more then earned their pay and Twilight is making enough money that they should start paying their stars better. So, should Summit get a clue and pay up?

LA Times Interview with the Cullens

Anyone of us would love a chance to sit down with the actors and ask them all our questions, while LA TImes had the chance and got this great interview. All of the Cullens, except Rob who was busy shooting Bel Ami, took some time to tell us what we can expect from their characters in Eclipse.

In Eclipse, The Vampires and the Werewolves band together to defend Bella and the rest of the humans from an army of newborn vampires. With this battle looming we are able to learn a little bit more about each of the Cullens and see their characters develop.

Peter Facinelli plays Carlisle Cullen, recently named the richest fictional character and patriarch of the Cullen house. He is the vampire that makes us all change our minds about whether vampires are good or evil. On how Carlisle will be different in this movie, Peter told us this:”Carlisle is very compassionate and he has a lot of killing to do in this movie. I joke, after he kills the bad guys, he says he’s sorry in his head.He’s the rock of the family. He usually has a lot of information to draw from because Alice can see into the future and Edward can read minds. In this third movie, he’s not getting that information. Neither one of his sources are working, so he’s kind of flying blind.”

Elizabeth Reaser plays Esme Cullen, who although we don’t know much about her she still feels like a mom to all of us. On her character Elizabeth states: “It was interesting to get in touch with the vampire side of her in ways that haven’t really been explored. Her family is in danger and that brings out the mama bear in her.”

Ashley Green IS Alice Cullen, no one could have played the part better. But even sweet Alice is going to be showing a darker side in Eclipse: “Yeah, she’s delicate and prissy at times, but Alice gets a little edgier with each installment. And with these vampires messing with her family and the people she loves, you’re going to see a bit of her toughness. You’re going to see the dark, dangerous side of Alice.”

Kellan Lutz who plays Emmett has the ability to make girls swoon while at the same time remain Rosalie’s monkey man. How will the character of Emmett be in Eclipse? Not much different!: “You’re going to see a smile on Emmett’s face from start to finish. He just loves to fight. And there’s a lot of fighting.”

Jackson Rathbone plays Jasper Cullen, who has remained pretty quite through the other two movies. For those who have read the book they know that Eclipse is supposed to tell us more about Jasper’s past, will that be in the movie?: “You’ll get to see a little bit of the root of what makes Jasper so withdrawn and quiet in the Cullen family. Fans will get some of Jasper’s back story in ‘Eclipse.’ I got to wear the whole Civil War gear and everything.” Yahh!! We are very excited to see that!

Speaking of Rosalie, Actress Nikki Reed shared some info about her character and how Rosalie has changed in the third installment:”You see a reason for her attitude. I think fans will feel for her. This time around, she is much more of a participant. She’s a survivor. This is her family. So if protecting Bella means protecting her family, she’s going to do it.”

Final Eclipse Trailer Tommorow!!

Here at TwilightBlogs and at our sister site Experience Twilight we are busy planning the Experience Eclipse Premiere in St. Helens, Oregon and we can’t believe how fast it is approaching!! It is exciting to think that The third Twilight move will be out in little over a month! Needless to say we are scrounging around for ANY new Eclipse information because we just can’t get enough! Well, Summit, and Miss Oprah Winfrey has heard our prayers!

Tommorow, Oprah will reveal the last trailer on her show and it is sure to be one of the most watched episodes Oprah has ever had. Also Summit is teasing us with some “surprise guests” from the Twilight cast appearing on their Facebook page afterward and now we have word about who that is! Bryce Dallas Howard, Julia Jones, and Nikki Reed will be at 8:15pm EST (5:15 p.m. PT), after the trailer is released online at 8pm, will be on Facebook answering our questions in a live video chat on the Twilight Facebook and Myspace page! Summit is giving Twilighters a chance to ask questions during the chat. all you have to do is tweet:

With what little we have seen so far this trailer is sure to be fabulous!! And don’t fret too much about it being the last trailer.  There are already rumors of sneak peeks, including one at the MTV Awards again. So, make sure to tune in to Oprah tomorrow , April 23rd, at 4pm where she will reveal the last trailer!! Or tune into the Twilight Social network at 8pm for a second chance. What to Expect From Eclipse

The New Moon dust is just beginning to settle and already we are hearing what is coming up for Eclipse. The stars are on all their promo tours and they just can’t stop talking about all the Eclipse excitement!!

Ashley Greene, who is deeply involved in the charity Donate My Dress, was recently on the cover of Teen Prom, and she took a minute to talk about the excitement of Eclipse. Anyone who has read Eclipse knows that it has more action then any of the other books. Ashley has been training like crazy and has the bruises to prove it. Check it out, and Ashley’s beautiful prom dress!

Bryce Dallas Howard has been out promoting her new movie The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond. Bryce is a new addition to the movie, replacing Rachelle Lefevre in the role of Victoria, and trust me she got the best of the 3 books that Victoria is in. Eclipse is Victoria’s shining moment and Bryce really brought her character to life. In an interview with Saturday Night Magazine, Bryce talks about what it was like being the newbie on the set.

Rachelle did an extraordinary job at creating Victoria and part of the joy of a franchise like this is getting to see not only the characters grow but the actors continuing to grow with the characters…It was really unfortunate for everybody that Rachelle left. I did feel, I don’t know if I should say a pressure, but an enormous responsibility because the fans felt really strongly about the role of Victoria and they felt a deep connection to Rachelle, which they should because she is also beautiful and talented. I really did do my best and I hope that whatever work I did can somehow honor what had been created before and what was created by Stephenie. I felt really grateful to this because Rachelle and I have connected. She’s an amazing woman and has been enormously and overwhelmingly helpful.

Happy Halloween!!

Happy Halloween Twilighters!! I can’t believe the week past by so fast!! I was going to post a holiday treat for you all everyday, but we have been so busy planning our Experience New Moon Event. So instead I’m giving it to you all at once, our Halloween gift to all you great Twilighters!!

One of the best things to do for Halloween is carve pumpkins and this year we have a special treat for you!! How would you like pumpkins with the faces of our favorite New Moon stars? We found FREE stencils with Jacob, Edward, and the classic Edward/Bella pose from the Twilight posters. These stencils are great and easy so that anyone can have a Twilight Pumpkin!! My favorite is the wolf howling at the Moon, thats whats going to be on my pumpkin!! Check them out!!

By now we have all made our plans and know exactly where we are going to be tonight, whether it be Halloween party or harvest party, Trick or treating or Movie marathon; the real question is how are the Twilight stars spending Halloween? Well the buzz online is that some of the stars are planing their own Halloween parties. Friends and co-stars, Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz, are hosting their own Halloween party in the party central, Las Vegas. That sounds like so much fun!! Ashley Greene has stated that she is going as bird.

Ashley and Kellan aren’t the only party animals though, two wolves and a vampire have banded together to plan there own Twilight Halloween party at The Pool After Dark at Harrah’s Resort in Atlantic City, N.J. This is party, hosted by Edi Gathegi, Alex Meraz, and Chaske Spencer is open to the public and is supposed to have a special appearance by Snoop Dogg, so if you live in the area, it starts at 10pm, go and have fun!!

Scream Awards 2009

The Scream Awards is an awards show on Spike TV that honors the best films in Fantasty, Sci-Fi, Comics and Horror. Just like with every other awards show that has went on this year, Twilight is up for numerous awards. This includes:

• Best Fantasy Actress (Kristen Stewart)
• Best Fantasy Actor (Rob Pattinson)
• Best Supporting Actress (Ashley Greene)

9 Different categories!! That is so awesome, they are sure to steal the show!! All the winners are voted on by the fans so go on to Scream.com to vote and support Twilight. Then tune in Tuesday October 27th at 10pm to see who wins.

There is no confirmation if any of the Twilight stars will be there but the press release does say this:

“SCREAM 2009″ will celebrate the year of the vampire and the phenomenal popularity from the highly-anticipated “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” with cast and world premiere footage. In addition, fans will be treated to appearances from the cast and creators of “True Blood” including Alan Ball, Stephen Moyer, Anna Paquin, Alexander Skarsgård, Sam Trammell, among others. The celebration continues with a “Battlestar Galactica” cast reunion for a farewell tribute featuring Edward James Olmos, Tricia Helfer, Grace Park, James Callis, Kate Vernon, Katee Sackhoff, Michael Trucco Tahmoh Penikett and executive producer David Eick.

How cool is that?! I can’t wait to see whatever exclusive footage they have, plus it will be cool to see who from the cast shows up. So be sure to tune in October 27th at 10pm on Spike TV

Filming in Italy

As we all wait anxiously for the release of New Moon it is nice to have little teasing tidbits of the movie to help us get through the agony of the wait. Well here is a video that has been floating around YouTube of the Twilight stars filming the famous Porsche scenes in Volterra. The video is not amazing quality but it does show a good portion of the scene where Alice gets stopped by the cop while driving the Porsche and Bella jumps out. The video features Ashley Greene, Kristen Stewart, as well as their stunt doubles. Check it out and let me know what you think!!

Wanna Rent a Twilight Star?

We all have wished that we could have a Twilight Star to hang out with or invite to our party, but it has never seemed like an actual possibilty. Well for some lucky fans it just might be possible.

Celebrity Booking Agent, Mike Esterman recently announced that he was working with the Twilight stars (except Rob and Kristen) to make it possible to book these stars for birthday parties or Halloween bashes. Already he has heard requests from people wanting the stars to come to their club openings or appear at the mall. One women in New York wants Peter Facinellis to come to her 30th Birthday party. Of course having the Vampy stars show up for Halloween bashes are already the most popular item.

As you might of guessed none of this comes cheap. The stars can charge a fee of up to $20,000 dollars per event! They are guessing that on average they are going to make about $20,000 plus hotel, food and first-class airfare. Wowsa!! But you know it would be worth it to have Ashley Greene, or Kellan Lutz, or Edi Gathegi show up at your party!! So far there is no direct info on his website about Twilight but it should be coming.
