Eclipse Wolfpack- Now What Do You Think??

On Friday we talked about the Newborn Vamps, now lets talk about the wolf pack!!

Unlike the vamps, not much has changed in for the Vamps except the 2 new arrivals of Seth and Leah Clearwater. Seth is being played by BooBoo Stewart and Leah is Julia Jones. From everything we have seen so far these 2 look great and already fans are falling in love with them!

Booboo already had a fan base because of the band he had with his sister, but my guess is nothing will prepare him for this! Julia isn’t new to fame either due to her role as Dr. Kaya Montoya on ER among others roles. The character of Leah is a jilted ex-girlfriend of pack leader Sam, oh and did we mention she was Emily’s cousin? SHe is the only known female werewolf and she is full of attitude. Seth is the exact opposite! Seth is friendly and playful, even making friends with the vamps!

So what do you guys think of the choices for the wolfpack and do you think it fits the movie description. I have to admit when I first saw actress Jenny Jones I didn’t think she looked angry enough to be Leah, but she might be able to pull off the attitude. BooBoo is already likeable, no question about that, but does he have the ability to pull off Seth’s Amazing fighting from Eclipse?

We won’t know until June 30th, but what do you guys think? Do they look and act the parts, can they pull it off?

Wolfpack Takes Over

New Moon release is fast approaching and Eclipse filming is already under way, but the Cullens are no longer the talk of the town. The Wolfpack and the rest of Quileute’s are taking center stage as we are introduced to their characters in New Moon and Eclipse.

We have just met the actors who are playing Sam, Paul, Jared, Quil, and Embry and already they are making a big splash in the news. It seems like they anywhere in Vancouver with out having their pictures taken. Lainey Gossip has been posting pictures of all of Alex Merax, Chaske Spencer, and Tinsel Korey; out and about hanging in Vancouver.

We also have some new Werewolves that we will meet in Eclipse that have recently been making news. Boo-Boo Stewart and Julia Jones have been cast as Seth and Leah Clearwater with actress Alex Rice cast as their mother, Sue Clearwater.  Seth is the young and loyal werewolf that we love and Leah is the first and only girl werewolf. There was lots of rumors about who was going to be cast in these roles, but it is good to finally have confirmation.  Plus the actors have the looks at least to pull of the roles, lets just see how their acting is!!

Eclipse cast!!

Eclipse has already started filming but there are still some questions about who is playing who.  Of course all of our favorite characters are back Rob Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, Peter Facinelli, and all the rest. There was only one change in actors for already established characters and that was the replacement of Rachelle LeFevre by Bryce Dallas Howard. It was sad to see Rachelle go, but I am excited to see how Bryce plays the role.

There are some new additions to the cast with the new characters like Seth and Leah Clearwater. Here is the official cast press release from Summit:

Along with director David Slade, several new actors are joining the TWILIGHT family including Bryce Dallas Howard as Victoria, Xavier Samuel as Riley, Catalina Sandino Moreno as Maria, Jack Huston as Royce King, Julia Jones as Leah, BooBoo Stewart as Seth, and Jodelle Ferland as Bree.

I am glad to see the role of Leah is finally cast, there was a lot of questions and worries about what actress was going to be given this role. There had been rumor that the role had been offered to Vanessa Hudgens but it was never confirmed. The role was given to actress Julia Jones who was previously seen in ER. From the looks of it she will make a great Leah, but I guess we will have to wait and see.

Leah’s little brother Seth Clearwater is one of my favorite characters and my second favorite werewolf. The role has been given to BooBoo Stewart. His real name is Nils Allen Stewart Jr. but he goes by BooBoo. He used to be part of Disney’s T Squad  He is 15 and has previously been seen in Everybody Hates Chris and The Last Sentinel, as well as some stunt double parts. He also has a martial arts background like Taylor Lautner so that should make things interesting!! That should make his show down with Riley much more exciting!!

Less than 2 months until New Moon comes out, then Eclipse won’t be far behind!! So stay tuned for more Eclipse updates!!
