Vampires Sparkle Better in New Moon

Stephenie Meyer’s vampires are different than other other vampires in many ways, but the most obvious is that Stephenie’s vampires sparkles. In the movie version of Twilight Edward reveals this to Bella in the bug Meadow scene, but unfortunately it fell flat of many book fans expectations. However in a recent interview with Peter Facinelli who played Carlisle in the move, Peter revealed a “sparkly secret”. Here is what the interview has to say:

“He talked to us about the script for New Moon and said he was happy with it. He mentioned his concerns at a man directing a story told from a woman’s (Bella’s) viewpoint, but how he was then totally reassured after meeting Chris Weitz the director. My favorite bit of insiders gossip that he gave us was one of the stage directions. In the New Moon script it says ‘the sunlight catches Edward’s skin and we see him sparkle’ ,it then says in brackets underneath (BUT BETTER THAN IN TWILIGHT) I guess they really are trying to improve the special effects!”

Demi Lovato for Twilight?

It seems like anyone who is someone big in Hollywood, or anyone who wants to be big in Hollywood is fighting for there chance to be in the Twilight sequel New Moon. The latest rumor is that upcoming Disney Star Demi Lovato would like to write a song for New Moon. She says “Edward Cullen — I would write a love song to him, Or Jacob Black!” I wonder what kind of song she would write for them? It would be interesting to hear.
