RobSten- Really? This Again?

The rumors are flying again that America’s favorite “Oh we are not together” couple have finally come out in the open, again. Poor Rob and Kristen can’t be seen anywhere with out rumors of their secret affair. How did the latest rumors start? The incredibly unreliable Great Britain tabloid The Sun got the craze going again by writing an article about the BAFTA awards, where both the stars were in attendance. What a strange coincidence, that is if you forget the fact that Kristen actually was nominated for and won the Rising Star award and Rob was there as a presenter. Instead The Sun took a different approach on the matter, quoting Rob as saying:

“It is extremely difficult but we are together, yes.”

“We can’t arrive at the same time because of the fans. It goes crazy. This was supposed to be a public appearance as a couple but it’s impossible. We are here together and it’s a public event but it’s not easy.

“We have to do all this stuff to avoid attention.”

Twilight Cast Helps Haiti

The devastation that hit Haiti has touched the lives and hearts of all of us and we search desperately for any thing we can do to help.  The Twilight cast has also felt the pressure to help out and are using there well-deserved popularity to do their part.

Twitter pages have been buzzing all over about Haiti and the Twilight cast is using their Twitter accounts to reach out. Here are some of their Tweets:

But that is not all, they are also taking action, Rachelle Levefre recently posted pictures of herself donating blood to the Red Cross (which is slightly ironic given that she plays nomadic Vampire Victoria)

But I am wondering if maybe Rob’s contribution will make the most amount of money for Haiti. During the Golden Globes we learned that George Clooney was doing his own Hope for Haiti telethon to raise money for Haiti. Twilight Examiner reported that Rob has signed on to be a host for the London branch of the event, which is scheduled to air this Friday. I am sure Rob will have plenty of Twilighters who are eager to help rebuild Haiti. The show will air across all MTV channels 8-10 p.m. ET on Friday January 22nd.

Hidden New Moon Easter Egg’s

With Chris Weitz as the new director for New Moon, we all expected some changes. In this case I think we all can say those changes were good, his CGI was amazing and he really helped bring the characters to life. But that’s not all he did, Chris also added some hidden surprises in the movie exclusively for the real die hard twihards!! We have heard rumor about these “Easter Egg’s”, first from Taylor Lautner, and now there is even an iTunes app that reveals the five Easter Eggs. But don’t rush off and go spend your money, Twilighters, TwilightBlogs has the scoop!!

1. Hidden Wolves- New moon is all about the wolves so should we really be that surprised the Chris Weitz hid some through out the movie? Next time you watch, look a little more carefully and you may spot the wolves. There is an upside-down engraving of a wolf in the shot of the bowl in which Carlisle burns his first-aid equipment, one on Jacob’s T-shirt when he meets Bella in the school parking lot in the beginning of the movie, and a wolf trinket on the dream-catcher that Jacob gives to Bella.

2. Volturi Elevator Music- Remember the scene where Jane and her Volturi posse are taking Edward, Bella, and Alice to see Aro and they are riding in the elevator? In the background you can hear music playing. That music is from Strauss’ Die Fledermaus (a.k.a. The Bat).’

3. Chris Weitz Baggage-  In the scene where Bella goes looking for the meadow and finds Laurent, there is a Golden Compass clipped to her backpack, homage to Chris Weitz own baggage.

4. Speed Trick- One of the things we love about the vampires is they are super fast. In the scene after Bella’s birthday party when Edward is driving her home, Edward demonstrates that speed when he opens the car door for Bella. But how did Rob, not being a vampire, actually do that? A little movie magic. They put Rob right next to the camera but out of sight, and used a double dressed like Rob in the driver’s seat. When Edward gets out, it’s the double, and then Rob steps in front of the camera, and it looks as if he got there faster than humanly possible.

5. What Did Jacob Say?!- Number 5 is still up for debate, or at least it is in my mind. By now we all know and have talked about the scene where Jacob whispers sweet Quileute nothings into Bella’s ear but what exactly he says is a mystery. All Chris Weitz will tell us is “Ask a Quileute.” Well, the people at the Forks store Dazzled by Twilight did and the storyteller Morgonroth says that Jacob said “kwopkalawo’li” (pronunced quo-p-kah-lah-WOH-oh-lee) which means I love you in Quileute. A Rob Halloween

Happy Halloween Twilighters!! This week is Halloween week on Twilight Blogs!! All week long we’ll be bringing you tons of Twilight-y fun for your Halloween!!

The first order of Halloween business is Rob Pattinson. This vampire hunk is the talk of the town as kids everywhere roll their eyes at moms dressing them up like Edward Cullen. But the kids aren’t the only ones that are dressing up like Edward. That’s Right, pumpkins are getting into the action as well.

MTV is hosting a “Rob O’Lantern” pumpkin carving contest, asking readers to send in a pic of their pumpkin with the likeness of Rob Pattinson. But they are not stopping with just Edward, no the rules say the pumpkin can look like Edward, Cedric Diggory, even just Rob himself.

The Prize- Being able to blog about Robert Pattinson (now you know why I didn’t enter) on the Crush. Results for the contest will be posted on Oct. 30th and I am intrigued to see who the winner will be, which of the many faces of Rob Pattinson did the winner choose to depict? Guess we’ll have to wait and see!!

Rob Shower Curtains?

There are tons of products out there for Twilight, especially having to do with Rob, everyone’s favorite Vampire Heartthrob. I have seen everything from clothes to purses, even underwear, but I was not quite expecting the the Rob Shower curtain. That’s right, OK magazine is now reporting that Rob shower curtains are available online.

The shower curtains are blue and they have a huge 3ft head shot of Edward/Rob plastered across the front. These shower curtains were available on Etsy.com and they sold like crazy. Girls everywhere were much cleaner with their new Rob Curtains.

The curtains are no longer available, they sold out too fast, but the manufacturer promises they will get them back as soon as possible.

Scream Awards 2009

The Scream Awards is an awards show on Spike TV that honors the best films in Fantasty, Sci-Fi, Comics and Horror. Just like with every other awards show that has went on this year, Twilight is up for numerous awards. This includes:

• The Ultimate Scream
• Best Fantasy
• Best Fantasy Actress (Kristen Stewart)
• Best Fantasy Actor (Rob Pattinson)
• Best Supporting Actress (Ashley Greene)
• Best Breakout Performance- Male (Taylor Lautner and Rob Pattinson are competing again)
• Best Ensemble
• Scream Song of the Year (Decode by Paramore)
• Best Villain (James)

9 Different categories!! That is so awesome, they are sure to steal the show!! All the winners are voted on by the fans so go on to Scream.com to vote and support Twilight. Then tune in Tuesday October 27th at 10pm to see who wins.

There is no confirmation if any of the Twilight stars will be there but the press release does say this:

“SCREAM 2009″ will celebrate the year of the vampire and the phenomenal popularity from the highly-anticipated “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” with cast and world premiere footage. In addition, fans will be treated to appearances from the cast and creators of “True Blood” including Alan Ball, Stephen Moyer, Anna Paquin, Alexander Skarsgård, Sam Trammell, among others. The celebration continues with a “Battlestar Galactica” cast reunion for a farewell tribute featuring Edward James Olmos, Tricia Helfer, Grace Park, James Callis, Kate Vernon, Katee Sackhoff, Michael Trucco Tahmoh Penikett and executive producer David Eick.

How cool is that?! I can’t wait to see whatever exclusive footage they have, plus it will be cool to see who from the cast shows up. So be sure to tune in October 27th at 10pm on Spike TV

Jackson Rathbone’s Private Party

Leave it to the Twilight stars to throw the coolest private parties ever. Jackson Rathbone, the gorgeous actor who plays the troubled Jasper, is all the lead singer for the band 100 Monkeys. Well Jackson and his Monkeys hosted an awesome private half-way party for his fellow cast members. This is the invitation that he sent out.

How awesome it would have to be there!! Well one lucky fan was able to go there, the women who made the cupcakes. Jzabela & Sara of Deliciously Yours were delightful surprised to get a call from Jackson Rathbone’s manager requesting for them to make and deliver cupcakes to the event. They made some of there awesome and unique cupcakes including:

The Hamburger (mini vanilla flavored cupcakes and brownies for the “burger” portion of the cake)

Popcorn Cupcakes (butter pecan mini cupcakes with marshmallows to look like buttery “popcorn”)

And of Course, Monkey cupcakes

They tried to be very respectful of the cast, knowing that they had been working really hard filming and needed this break. But they did get a chance to mingle a bit:

Now I’m sure everyone’s wondering, did Robert Pattinson get to enjoy your cupcakes, did you get to meet him? The answer to that one is a definite yes! Sara and I mustered up the courage to talk to him and I even brought a hamburger cupcake for him to sample and he enjoyed it very much! We had a nice chat with him along with Kellan Lutz, who made it very clear to us that he had taken a business card and wished we were international so he could get mini cupcakes from us in LA!
We were on cloud 9 by this point and the whole experience couldn’t have been any better than what it was. The 100 Monkeys played an excellently long set and everyone grooved to their tunes the whole night. Jackson is really one of the nicest and down to earth celebrities we’ve ever met. Out of respect for all the wonderful people there, we didn’t take photos with the actors as this really was a night for everyone to unwind from all the hustle bustle of the movie world, but we did get a photo with the 100 Monkeys, after all they were the reason we were there in the first place!

As you can see it was a great night for everyone, I just wish i could have been there!! Think that’s the end? Not quite

ps. That night at about 2:30am Sara got a mysterious call from an unknown number which turned out to be Robert Pattinson himself, telling us how “beautiful” our cupcakes were! What a sweet guy! Totally the icing on the cake!!

Yeah that can’t be topped!!

Are Kristen and Rob Dating?

If you are like me, every where you go there are magazines that have combating opinions on whether or not Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are actually dating. At first I passed these off as rumors, maybe even marketing for their new movie, just like with Twilight. But now the rumor that they are dating is getting more plentiful and it seems to be the truth everyone believes, so I decided it was time for a more in-depth investigation. Obviously I can’t just go and ask Rob and Kristen, as much as I would love that, so instead I decided to examine all the articles and see which ones seem to be the most reliable, this is what I found.

First of course there was the caught kissing photos. You remember those right?

Basically the rumor was that Rob and Kristen were caught kissing at the Kings of Leon concert. Although the pictures looked promising, further investigation showed that there was probably no kissing going on.

Then there was confirmation by unnamed sources, such as this article in HollyScoop.com which says:

A source close to the couple confirms to Hollyscoop, “Rob and Kristen are definitely together!”
The source added, “Rob has been crazy about Kristen since they first started filming Twilight. Even though Kristen had a boyfriend at the time, Rob made sure she knew he was crazy about her.” …They would enjoy romantic dinners together after shooting would wrap up and reportedly wouldn’t stop kissing even after the director called “cut.”
“Kristen and Rob have been dating for a while, but they have been very hush, hush,” says our source.

This is a great story and maybe it is even possible, but I have a hard time taking the word of a unnamed source. I prefer sources that dare state their opinions and their names. Such as this article from OK magazine where the source is a waitress at a Vancouver Restaurant that is popular with the cast. Here is what she had to say:

A.T.: How about Rob and Kristen, what is their dynamic like?
Hostess One: Doesn’t everyone just know that they’re dating?

A.T.: Uh, you’d be surprised how many don’t want to believe it.
Hostess Two: Oh, well everyone here knows. They are the only cast members who will come in alone a lot. You can just tell by looking at them. They’re really cute together, always smiling.

A.T.: Love it! Hate to say it though, but “smiling” and “Kristen Stewart” seem unlikely to be in the same sentence together.
Hostess One: No way. She is incredibly sweet — I’d be a bitch, too, if there were cameras constantly in my face. But she’s great, and so is Rob. They just seem to make each other happy.

Believe it or not this is a source that I do believe. I mean it is possible she was just trying to stir up gossip or wanted her 15 minutes, but I didn’t get that feeling from her. In fact so far the Canadians have proven to not only be a good source, but basically nonchalant about Twilight.

If we really want answers it is best to go straight to the source, so I wondered what Kristen and Rob were saying? But unfortunately even that was a little cloudy. For example Socialte Life quotes and article from ET! that states what Rob has to say about the dating rumors, and apparently he finds them “Ridiculous”, Check it out:

“It becomes a joke,” the dreamy-eyed Brit tells Entertainment Tonight. “There was some magazine the other day about me and Kristen and when you look at it and realize it’s on the front of a magazine… You realize that people are actually reading that even though how ridiculous it is. It’s really bizarre.”

Hmm, it doesn’t exactly sound like love to me yet, but could this be a cover up? We may never know, although apparently there is supposed to be an article coming out in December In-Touch Weekly where Kristen and Rob finally come out in the open, but I am not holding my breath.

So what did my investigation turn up? There is nothing new with Rob and Kristen and there is still no Robsten, but I think that there is definitely something there. The only thing I know for sure is that rumors of marriage are absolutely false. In fact the “wedding” that magazines continue to talk about is actually the wedding from Breaking Dawn. Teen Choice Awards

The Teen Choice Awards are coming and just like all the other award shows this year, Twilight is up for some major nominations.

Between the cast and the movie, Twilight has been nominated for 12 different nominations in topics including Best movie, best fight scene, and best kiss. Rob is up for lead male and Kristen lead female. Taylor is not up against Rob this time for Break-out male so he should have no problem winning that. However Nikki Reed and Ashley Greene are pitted against each other for Break-out female.

The Teen Choice awards are August 10th from 8-10pm on Fox. Hosting the Teen Choice Awards this year is another guy girls love to chase, or should I say guys as all 3 of the Jonas Brothers are hosting it this year. There is no word yet on who will be presenting the surfboards this year, but I can bet we will see some familiar Twilight faces.

Because the Teen choice awards are not until August 10th, this leaves plenty of time to vote. To vote just head over the to http://www.teenchoiceawards.com/ You can vote everyday until the show, all you have to do is register and log in, then start voting.
